David Asher has over 20 years experience working with Medicare, both as a clinician and an Insurance executive. He operates an agency that specifically deals with Medicare supplements and plans designed for New York medicare recipients, known as Medicare Advantage.
David, a Navy veteran, has worked with New York AutoFest over the years, and is currently an officer at the Syosset VFW. He makes himself available from time to time to inform clubs and associations about their Medicare options, and how to avoid some of the pitfalls that can be encountered in this confusing world of choices. His sessions discuss Medicare supplements vs Advantage plans, part D programs and how to choose them, and how veterans sometimes miss out on programs specifically designed for them.
