From poverty to stardom to political dominance, Evita follows the life of Eva Perón and her ascent to the top as the First Lady of Argentina. Bay Street will offer its signature treatment of a large-scale musical: a visceral experience in a thrust theater that allows the viewer to get close to the iconic characters and Perón’s infamous rise to power. The beloved score includes the songs “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina,” “Buenos Aires” and “Another Suitcase in Another Hall.”
