Description

"In 2020, Father’s Day falls on the Summer Solstice! Join us at 5 – 6 pm for Biologist Eric Power’s fascinating program on Long Island’s native owls – from tiny screetch owls to great horned owls. You’ll discover the basic physiology and behaviors of these magnificent raptors – then Eric will give step-by-step instructions for you to build your own owl boxes that encourage these great birds to make a home on your property. Immediately following this program, join us for the Summer Solstice Celebration from 6:30 – 8:30 pm – BYO picnic and spend the longest day of the year celebrating dad – and all of the great men in your life – outdoors on our beautiful grounds.

The admission price includes materials for one kit, and extra kits can be purchased. The Admission price also includes the Summer Solstice Celebration!"
