Mills Pond Gallery Features Creative Fine Art by Artists Representing 28 Long Island Communities October 26 – December 20, 2019

Smithtown Township Arts Council is pleased to highlight the talents of sixty-two of its artist members! Member Artist Showcase- a unique Exhibition of Original Fine Art for sale by Member Artists-will be on view from October 26 through December 20 at Mills Pond Gallery, 660 Route 25A, St. James. Exhibiting artists hail from 28 communities across Long Island as well as North Carolina and New Jersey.

A wide variety of media is represented including oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, mixed media and photography. The public is invited to an opening reception on Saturday, October 26 from 2-4 pm to meet the exhibiting artists and view their work. Admission to the gallery is always free.

James LaMantia of LaMantia Gallery in Northport will judge this year’s exhibition. In its 29th year, LaMantia Gallery offers a wide variety of original paintings, mixed media and sculpture by internationally renowned artists. James will select four winners to participate in a future invitational winners exhibit at Mills Pond Gallery.

Mills Pond Gallery hours are: Wednesdays – Fridays 10 am – 4 pm and Saturday - Sunday 12 pm – 4pm. The gallery is closed Mondays & Tuesdays and closed November 27- December 3 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Please call 631-862-6575 or visit www.millspondgallery.org for more information.
