Description

"Come join us on a New Year’s Day hike through Bethpage State Park, looking for signs of rabbits, hawks, fox and owls along the trail; bring water and snack; hike rain, snow, or shine—only a blizzard cancels; meet at Bethpage picnic area parking lot near playground; from NY 135 southbound, take Exit 8, Powell Ave.; turn left across bridge and left again at entrance to picnic area and polo field; from Bethpage Parkway northbound, go ¾ around traffic circle, continue to entrance; go to the end of the road at the restrooms and playground area."
