Jay Fiedler played in the NFL for 10 years, and his stint with the Miami Dolphins featured three 10+ win seasons in four years, two 11-5 seasons, an AFC title and two postseason appearances. Jay signed with the N.Y. Jets in 2005, as a backup to Chad Pennington.
Temple Israel of Lawrence, 140 Central Avenue, Lawrence, N.Y., in conjunction with Jewish Sports Heritage Association (JSHA), will be honoring Jay Fiedler with "The First Annual Lifetime Achievement Award," at Temple Israel of Lawrence, on NFL Wild Card Sunday, January 6, 2019, starting at noon. The award ceremony will take place witha showing of game 1 of the Wild Card Playoffs that Sunday, along with lunch, dessert and refreshments.
