Weather Alert

"Special Statement" ...Another night of below zero cold inland and below zero wind chills throughout tonight... As temperatures tonight fall back to below zero well inland and into the single digits most elsewhere, wind chills will remain at least a few degrees colder as brisk northwest winds take some time to diminish. Wind chills will be mostly 5 to 10 below zero, but may reach 15 below in a few inland spots, mainly in the higher elevations. Temperatures and wind chills will both moderate by Tuesday afternoon as the core of the Arctic air mass bringing US this cold begins to slide east. Make sure to bundle up and wear a hat and gloves if heading outdoors tonight into Tuesday morning. 454 PM EST Mon Jan 21 2019 ...Another night of below zero cold inland and below zero wind chills throughout tonight... Description

Stand Up To Poverty, Inc is hosting a Free Community Health Fair with Stony Brook Physician Assistants and the Good Seed Church of God on  Saturday, January 26th, 2019 from 10 AM to 3 PM in Central Islip.

There will be vendors, health screenings, giveaways, information and refreshments. Raffles will be sold to fundraise for our Haiti Medical Mission in March 2019.  We welcome corporate sponsorships, in-kind donations and raffle items to help us raise the funds to offset the cost of our medical mission.

The last day of our fall medical mission was heartbreaking. Please take a look below. Thank you.
