South Bay Bible Church is pleased to announce their final Summer Movie Night of the 2019 season on Friday, September 20, 2019. Movie nights will begin again in May 2020.
Most importantly, the movies can be enjoyed without any cost or offering whatsoever. South Bay Bible Church also provides movie theater-style refreshments without cost. The church hopes these “no strings attached” events brighten the community. “We just want people to know that God loves them,” said Martin Hawley, senior pastor.
The final Summer Movie Night of the 2019 season at South Bay Bible Church will feature Mary Poppins Returns. Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan. His only hope is to find a missing certificate that shows proof of valuable shares that his father left him years earlier. Just as all seems lost, Michael and his sister receive the surprise of a lifetime when Mary Poppins -- the beloved nanny from their childhood -- arrives to save the day and take the Banks family on a magical, fun-filled adventure.
Open seating begins at 7:30 p.m., and Mary Poppins Returns begins at 8:00 p.m.
All movie nights will be screened on the front lawn of South Bay Bible Church at 578 Montauk Highway, East Moriches, New York. All movie enthusiasts are welcome to attend. No reservations are required. Please bring your own lawn chairs and/or ground blankets. Movie nights are rain or shine. If rain, the movie night will be moved inside a very large tent.
