Pop Art forever changed the landscape of the art world. Art historian Thomas Germano, will show how artists such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, and James Rosenquist appropriated imagery that blurred the lines between fine art and everyday life.  See a visual retrospective of the postwar art movement.  Germano is an artist and Professor of Art and Art History at Farmingdale State College.  Friday, January 19, 2018, 7 – 8:30 pm. Members free; non-members $5.  Currently on View in the Museum: From Frankenthaler to Warhol: Art of the '60s and '70s. Museum Hours: Wed-Fri: 10 am to 5 pm; Sat-Sun 11 am to 5 pm.
