With so much information and competing demands for attention in our digital age, the ability to get our message out has never been more challenging. This workshop is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of how to craft a compelling story that engages the attention of listeners and communicates your message effectively. We will activate a supportive, creative process using improvisation exercises and discussion, and learn about the research that explains what makes storytelling such a unique, effective delivery system to convey knowledge and meaning. Professionals, business owners and other influences are invited to attend. This training will provide 4 Continuing Ed hours for social workers, approved by NYS (provider #0270). Trainer: Jude Treder-Wolff, LCSW, CGP, MT a consultant/trainer and writer/performer, storyteller who performs all over the NY area and around the country and provides coaching in the use of storytelling to teach, inspire and entertain.
