3rd Annual Gingerbread House Competiton
During the 18th Annual Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival we are hosting the Gingerbread House Competition.
Every year thousands of people attend this wonderful festival to see the transformation of Port Jefferson Village into a town out of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
All Gingerbread House Contest submissions will be on display at the historic Port Jefferson Masonic Temple throughout the entire Port Jefferson Dickens Festival weekend.
Public Viewing:
Friday, December 6, 2013 • 4pm - 10pm
Saturday, December 7, 2013 • 10am - 10pm
Sunday, December 8, 2013 • 10am - 5pm
Entries will be judged for their creativity, execution and originality by our panel of judges which includes celebrated local artists and chefs. There will be fabulous prizes awarded for adult, teen and children’s categories.
1st Place Adult Category Winner will receive a
5 DAY vacation for 4 at a luxurious resort in Cancun, Mexico!
A portion of all proceeds from this year's Gingerbread Contest and other events host by Suffolk Lodge No. 60 will be donated to the
Kimberly D. Holland Hodgkins Disease Foundation
for Clinical Trial Research
