"Special Statement" ...Accumulating snow during the evening commute... Light snow will develop this afternoon between 2 and 4 PM and continue through the evening commute. Given the recent cold temperatures, roadways will become snow covered and slippery. Around 1 to 2 inches of snow is forecast, with the highest amounts across the New York City Metro, Long Island, and southern Connecticut. Motorists are urged to use extra caution if traveling this evening. Description

George Martin's Strip Steak is celebrating the season of giving and is gathering toys to donate to The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in New Hyde Park, NY. A “Giving Tree” full of ornaments that list items to purchase and donate is set inside the restaurant. Those interested in donating should visit and select an ornament from the tree. All donations will help families staying at The Ronald McDonald House fulfill the wish lists of their children. All toys must be dropped off to George Martin’s Strip Steak by Thursday, December 21st  and should be unwrapped or wrapped in clear cellophane.
