“The Librarians” is a documentary that follows librarians, including Carolyn Foote, Suzette Baker, and Amanda Jones, in Texas, Florida, and other states as they unite to combat book banning by groups such as Moms for Liberty in the United States. The Librarians directed by Kim A. Snyder, was released in 2025, was not rated, and runs 1 hour and 32 minutes. The film was at the Sundance Film Festival, South by Southwest Festival, and is a NYT Critic’s Pick.
