This is a fascinating new program about Footsteps, the only organization in the United States providing comprehensive services to people who have chosen to leave their ultra-Orthodox communities and begin new lives. Steve Eisman, who is on the Board of Directors of Footsteps, and one of the members of the organization who transitioned from the ultra -Orthodox community to the mainstream society, will give us invaluable insight into challenges of the transition and the range of services and resources that Footsteps provides to support the former ultra -Orthodox Jews in their work to define their own identities.
