Hallockville Museum Farm 1800s Riverhead Coverlets Exhibit includes a display of woven bed coverlets made in Riverhead between 1830 and 1844 on a Jacquard Loom. Using punch cards, a Jacquard Loom was able to produce complex patterns automatically. These punch cards were the antecedents of computer punch cards that heralded the technology revolution of the mid-20th century. Admission is FREE.
