This week join us at Conscience Point, the Plymouth rock of Southampton, to learn about the early European settlers of Southampton and their relations with the local Native Americans. Also our friends from the Long Island Aquarium will be bringing along some live local species from the Peconic Estuary for guests to interact with and learn about how Long Island’s historic fishing industry has affected these local species, current and past local conservation efforts and how these crucial keystone species are affected today by our own human interaction.
