It’s the 30th Anniversary Season of Harbes Family Farm in Mattituck. As part of our season-long festivities, we’ll be holding Harbes Annual Peach Festival on Saturday, August 24 & Sunday, August 25 from 10am-7pm. You won’t want to miss this peachy, fun-filled celebration to cap off your summer!
Who will be crowned Harbes Peach King and Queen? Join us for one of our FREE peach eating contests to find out! We’ll be hosting two competitions daily in our central courtyard area. All ages are welcome to participate.
FREE LIVE MUSIC will be available in our courtyard/picnic area to entertain you both days from 1-5pm. Singer/songwriter, Rorie Kelly is scheduled to perform Saturday. Her powerful, unapologetic voice and catchy, evocative acoustic rock style will have you tapping your feet and singing along. Dan Donnelly is scheduled for Sunday. Relax and enjoy Dan’s renditions of classic and contemporary rock done in an acoustic, coffee house style.
While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The Barnyard includes a Singing Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm, our famous pig races and hosted children’s activities throughout the day. There are also farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, and our musical animatronic chicken show. We’ll also be debuting some exciting new attractions for 2019!
Wine lovers can visit our Wine Barn located behind the main farmstand in a 100-year-old renovated potato barn. We offer tastings of our award-winning wines and wine by the glass or bottle. There’s a rustic ambiance inside or you can enjoy your wine outside under an umbrella on our patio.
