Date & Time
2019 marks the bicentennial of Herman Melville’s birth. Critic and scholar Joan Baum will celebrate his legacy by exploring some of Melville’s best-known work, including “Moby Dick.” She will focus on Melville’s diction and syntax as well as his content and heady ideas and explore why we are still talking about Herman Melville and his great white whale after almost 200 years. Co-Sponsored with the Rogers Memorial Library. |
