AS WE APPROACH THE HOLIDAY SEASON WE START TO GET HOLIDAY SHOPPING ANXIETY. SOMETIMES WE FORGET TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED OF OUR TIME and GENEROSITY. COME JOIN US THIS YEAR. HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS 2019 HOLIDAY SEASON.
#HOLIDAYGIVEBACK and FRIENDSGIVING CELEBRATION
November 1, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
We are looking for volunteers to assist in a variety of random acts of kindness that will help make things better for those who many not have the means. Your helping hand can make a difference.
Here are the Objectives:
WeCare Packages: Non-perishable items such as warm socks, hand soap and toiletries to be hand delivered to those in need
Brown bag meals and Care baskets: Delivery of meals to those in need
My Pretty Corner: Learn about composting and contribute to local community walk thru and cleanup
Nursing Home Visits: Bring a hug, read a book and spend some time with the elderly
Toys for Tots: Gift wrapping service for donated toys for children
Homemade for the Holidays: Homemade centerpieces and crafts for nursing home meeting areas. If you have sewing skills offer your services to help a friend mend their worn garments or patch upholstery.
Tag a friend or business to join. When you're done and send your pictures to info@aodecors.com and hashtag your videos and pictures to #holidaygiveback.
