Date & Time
"This immensely popular and talent ensemble comes back to Coe Hall to cap off our 2020 fall and winter concert series.
Wine, other beverages and special refreshments will be served.
Created in 2011 from the streets of Brooklyn, the Hot Club of Flatbush is inspired by the American hot jazz and Parisian acoustic jazz bands of the 1920’s & 40’s. Drawing from the spirit of legendary artists such as Django Reinhardt, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Edith Piaf, Gershwin, Berlin and others, the repertoire of this group is as diverse as Brooklyn itself. Led by guitarist Jayson Goodner, violinist Ben Swan, and vocalist Gretchen Vitamvas, the group performs arrangements of Gypsy Jazz standards and American Songbook Classics with a unique Brooklyn flair."
