Description

At age 70, Jules Jacobs began taking piano lessons and 14 years later, he has composed over 500 melodies.

While his melodies came fairly easy to him, he had difficulty writing lyrics.  After recently being diagnosed with colon cancer, Jules came to his daughter Caren, who is a singer and musician as well, and said that he was feeling more of an urgency to have lyrics to some of his melodies.

It was Caren’s idea to reach out to her fellow musicians to help make this wish come true.  Jules picked his best 30 melodies, and singer/songwriters in the community have come together to pay tribute to him by putting lyrics to 24 of his musical compositions.

They will be performing their collaborative pieces at this heartwarming event. It is open to the public and free. So, please come join us ♥
