Scattered power outages are expected. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph, or gusts of 46 to 57 mph, are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, in open areas, and on elevated roads and bridges. Description

Take a break from the holiday rush and join old and new friends at the Museum’s annual Cookie Exchange. Swap dozens of festively decorated, homemade cookies from scratch - no mixes. Please bring 2 to 3 dozen cookies for swapping. Kathleen King, former owner of Tate’s Bake Shop, will give a short talk on her love of cookies and how they have influenced her life. Bring copies of your recipes, a tray to display your cookies and a container to take swapped cookies home. Refreshments will be served. Space is limited. $15 per person. Call 631-283-2494 to register.
