In our seventieth season, the Freeport Community Concert Association is pleased to present Kinga Augustyn.
Kinga is a New York City-based versatile classical concert violinist and recording artist gaining worldwide recognition through her performances as a concerto soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. Kinga began her music studies at the age of seven in her native Poland and continued her musical education at Juilliard.
She has performed as a soloist with orchestras in the United States, Europe and Asia. appearing at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Merkin Hall. She will be performing works from Kreisler, Paganini and others and will be accompanied on piano by her current musical collaborator, David Oei.
