The Farmingdale United Methodist Church will distribute ashes on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 12:00 noon, to mark the beginning of Lent, a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, abstinence and spiritual discipline.
Holy Communion will be offered at 7:30pm service on Maundy Thursday, April 18, 2019. Services will be held on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, at 12:00pm and Tenebrae Service at 7:30pm.
A sunrise service will be held on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, at 6:00am at Tanner Park in Copiague, and in the church at 9:30am.
