Fri, Dec 22, 2017Long Island Hoops is excited to announce the return of college basketball to the New Coliseum Presented By New York Community Bank. Local favorite Hofstra will take on 2016 national champion Villanova on Friday, December 22, 2017.
The Wildcats, who won the 2016 NCAA Championship, have appeared in the tournament 37 times, which is the 8th highest total in NCAA history. Villanova Head Coach Jay Wright previously coached at Hofstra where he led the Pride to two America East Conference Championships
