The two hour long tour starts with a history and understanding of Maple trees and how maple syrup is made with Mr Benner in the barn. After you will head to the next station, boiling of the sap, with Sam Benner by the warm fire. He will discuss and show how to boil down the sap. After head onto the stage of our event barn for a demonstration on maple candy. Watch how after all the water is out of the sap we can boil and heat further to make some sticky candy. (each person can taste and try). After all that knowledge grab some pancakes and hot coco!
This year we are having Maple Sugaring tours open to small groups and Scouts (boys and girls)
These are our "SCOUT" days booking times. We have a 50 people max per hour. If you have more than 50 people you can just book the next hour. If you have less than 50 people we will book your group with another scout group to add up the the max count. We will book any amount if you have below the max amount. Just remember we will also place another small scout troop with your booking to fill the hour slot.
