Description

Program Leader: Ashley Federici, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator

Have you ever walked on the beach and noticed something that didn’t belong? Maybe it was trash, a plank of wood, or even a rubber tire. How did these things get on the beach? What can we do to prevent trash from washing up on our shorelines? Come play an interactive game with Ashley to figure out what belongs on our beaches and what doesn’t. Afterward, we will make a craft, turning items found during our SoFo Cleans the Beach series into art.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
