"Adventureland, Cox Media, and That Meetball Place are excited to announce the first ever Meetball Madness event on Saturday, October 6th at Adventureland, Long Island’s Amusement Park. Meetball Madness lets Long Islanders decide which kind of meetball from That Meetball Place reigns supreme, by allowing Long Island families to sample five meetballs from That Meetball Place. Participants can cast their vote for their favorite meatball and have the chance to win prizes like 2019 Adventureland Season Passes! Samples of fried Oreos, fried twinkies, and zeppoles will also be available. Guests can purchase a sheet of 8 sample tickets (called Meet Sheets) to sample. A portion of the proceeds from this event benefit Adventureland’s Helping Hands Foundation’s Fall Food Drive. This year’s goal is to donate 250 Thanksgiving baskets to Long Island local food pantries.
Meetball Madness is from 12pm-3pm; the rain date for October 6th is October 7th. Adventureland will be open from 11:30am-5pm on October 6th. Parking and admission are free. Rides will be open at regular price."
