Date & Time
This year, Mercy Haven celebrates 36 years of service to Long Island, providing housing, advocacy, education, and life skills development to members of our community who are homeless, living in poverty, or living with mental illness.
The modern symbol of the 36th anniversary is bone china – which, by definition, is described as strong, durable and resilient. These words truly embody the story of Mercy Haven. Beyond this definition, though, bone china is a symbol of warmth and hospitality – an invitation to one’s home to share a meal and a conversation.
For 36 years, Mercy Haven has been inviting those most in need into their warm and welcoming homes.
To celebrate the accomplishments of these past 36 years and in anticipation of our future, Mercy Haven will be hosting a Gala Dinner Dance at the Bellport County Club in Bellport, NY on Friday evening, October 29, 2021. This year, we humbly honor proud Business Partner - Ridgewood Savings Bank, and faithful volunteers - Patricia A. Spiegel, and Edward, and in Loving Memory, Maria Sconzo.
The success of our work would not be possible without the support of friends like you in our community. All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support housing and programming for over 300 of your neighbors in-crisis.
