(mostly) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show with a side of music. A line-up of at least 4 storytellers from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds tell 8-10 minute stories, but 3 of them include subtle little lies. The audience gets to question the storytellers, then votes the person they think told a completely true story with no little lies. There are prizes involved, if you can believe a thing like that. The storytellers reveal the lies after the reveal, so the whole truth comes out in the end.
The show opens with a performance of OVERTHINKERS ANONYMOUS, a Long Island-based improv group that trains at Lifestage, Inc. in Smithtown.
The show is always spontaneous, fascinating and fun.
