The Nassau County Sheriff’s Correction Officers Benevolent Association will be hosting their 10th Annual Car Show and swap meet on Father’s Day, June 17th, 2018 at the Merrick, N.Y. train station. This event will directly support the efforts of the Nassau County Sheriff’s COBA Widows and Children's Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. There will be over 300 participating cars and trucks as the event has grown year over year to become one of the premier car shows on Father’s Day in our area.
In addition to the large selection of classic and exotic cars and trucks, guests can enjoy the many product and food vendors that will be on hand from classic sausage and pepper sandwiches and gourmet food trucks to die cast toys and car accessories. Children will be especially happy to visit our new first responder touch-a-truck section which will include police, fire, and military vehicles and displays thanks to the Nassau County Sherriff’s Department, Nassau County Police Department, NY State Police & North Merrick Fire Department. The Nassau County District Attorney will have their Operation Safe Child program at our event which provides parents with an identification card for their children containing pertinent physical information to give law enforcement officials a head start on a missing child.
