"If you are like most parents, your students/children are excited about going to college - but the uncertainty of taking college-level classes and navigating an unfamiliar campus/community can be intimidating. Fear not, the NYGEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) Student Success Conference webinar will provide you with the tools you need to prepare for and be successful during your first year at SUNY.
From time management, study skills and goal-setting to maintaining good health and wellness, you will learn about the abundance of campus resources and services available for all SUNY students. There will also be guidance on financial aid, “letting go” and other topics specifically geared toward parents.
The webinar will be presented to Westchester, Bronx, Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn programs on May 30th from 11:00am - 12:30pm."
