Description

Storytime Leader: Ashley Federici, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator

Octopuses are extremely intelligent and agile animals that are capable of maneuvering in unique and effective ways. Join Ashley as she reads the book Octopus Escapes Again! by Laurie Ellen Angus and discover how these clever cephalopods are able to escape predators as well as being effortless fishermen. After the story, we will do an experiment to see how octopuses use their ink, and then make an octopus craft of our own to take home! Material fee $3.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
