This exhibit celebrates the rich history of the William Floyd Estate with 100 items from the park's museum collections on display throughout the Old Mastic House. New this year, see artifacts highlighting previously unknown connections of the Floyds to other prominent Long Island families.
For a second year on display in the Old Mastic House see 100 items from the park's museum collections now exhibited at the park. The exhibit showcases a great variety of artifacts representing recollections of life in Mastic, Long Isand and paint an idyllic picture of the "House and Place in time." See objects from the archaeological collectin, silverware, clothing, illustrated children's primers and other items from 1600's to the1900's. Newly added this year are items illustrating previously unknown Floyd family connections to other prominent Long Island families.
