Opera & Broadway of the Hamptons: September Serenade, Cristina Fontanelli & Friends

Opera & Broadway of the Hamptons is delighted to return to Guild Hall to continue the 30-year tradition of bringing world-class voices to the East End.  Our brand-new program “September Songs” will celebrate the beginning of Indian summer – one of the most beautiful times on the East End – with equally beautiful selections from the world’s best-loved opera arias, duets and Broadway hit tunes – plus dance and song by Long Island’s carefully chosen young talent. 

Award-winning Singer/PBS-TV and CBS-TV host, Cristina Fontanelli will be your host and will be inviting her fabulous guest artist tenor and baritone friends and others whose names will be announced shortly.  Cristina has been deemed “a cross between Maria Callas and Ethel Merman” by Forbes Magazine and a “Vocal genius” by theNY Sun.  All the artists will be world-class with credentials that span the globe.  And the young talent will delight you with dance and song. 

Be lifted up by the beautiful strains of the world’s most-loved music.  Musical selections will be chosen from the “chestnuts” of the Opera including Madame Butterfly and La Boheme, Broadway favorites from West Side Story and current hits such as Hamilton and classic and popular songs in Italian and Spanish, plus Neapolitan songs!
