The Patchogue-Medford Friends of the Library will host their next mega book and Media sale on Saturday the 24th of February from 10-3 in the lower back meeting room of the library. Most prices range from 10 cents to $1.00. Some specialty and gorgeous art books are priced higher. Genres include Fiction, large print, non-fiction, cookbooks, DVDs, CDs, grab bag [really grab box] of Books on CD for $1.00, young adult, many children's at 10 cents each, teacher resources, magazines, library discards and donations. Also available will be Bound National Geographic Magazines dating back to 1917. We have quite the mixture of recently donated materials! We are a not for profit group that funds library programs and scholarships. We also donate to over 40 outreach groups. FREE FICTION PAPERBACK TO ALL WHO ATTEND. Please be sure to bring your own reusable bags. Reusable Friends of the Library bags will also be available for purchase. Joining the Friends of the Library is easy. Either fill out an application at the library and leave it at the circulation desk or join online. Go to the library website and click on the tab About Us. Click on Friends of the Library.
