PET PORTRAITS

Have you ever been interested in learning to draw or paint your pet? This course is your chance to learn. We will be using a variety of mediums to create your pet or favorite animal from a photographic reference. Class will cover the many types of papers, grounds and techniques involved in rendering animals. Instructor will have available photographs of animals, or student may bring a photo of their own pet. The art of the “Quick Sketch” will be explored as well as many other exercises in drawing and painting animals. Students will leave the class with a better understanding and appreciation for creating animals in their favorite medium.
