"Island Harvest is excited to team up with PSEG Long Island on a new initiative to help people in our communities facing food insecurity. It’s called Power to Feed Long Island and you can help!
Summer is a particularly challenging time for food banks. We see our stock dwindle rapidly and donations decrease. When schools close, daily school meals stop for thousands of Long Island children who depend on them.
PSEG has set a goal to provide enough food for 21,000 meals – join us as we kickoff our collection at the King Kullen in Shirley on Friday August 20th, 2021! Please stop by with any food donations you have- a list of Healthy Food Drive Donations is provided below to guide your donations. See you in Shirley!"
