Description

PubSci makes its way to West Sayville, NY

PubSci, a science café presented by Brookhaven National Laboratory, is back with its eighth installment of casual conversations about the Lab’s world-class research.

Invite your friends and colleagues to a lively discussion for the science-interested (or just plain curious) and chat with scientists in an informal and friendly way. No stuffy lectures – just a dynamic talk with a diverse audience and a lot of good cheer.

The Dark Universe: Exploring the Mysterious Invisible Forces Rippling through the Cosmos

In honor of Dark Matter Day, Brookhaven scientists and collaborators will discuss some of the fundamental questions about the universe and the ways in which they explore the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy. Why is the universe expanding faster and faster? What is the invisible matter filling all galaxies? How do we search for something we can’t see?
