"Visit “Turtle Rock,” a large erratic, and take time to visit Longwood Estate, where there are restrooms and picnic tables, on an out-and-back hike; bring tick spray; meet in the D.E.C. Rocky Point Forest parking lot on the north side of NY 25, about a mile west of William Floyd Pkwy.; from L.I.E. Exit 68 take Wm. Floyd Pkwy. north to NY 25 west; continue to parking lot on your right; park in the front facing the road (we will be hiking south from the lot); bring water and snack; heavy rain cancels."
