Description

Philip Y. Nicholson, Professor Emeritus, Nassau Comunity College, will visit the library for a discussion on Robert Moses.  This New York State "master builder" laid the foundations for what would become suburban America during the mid-20th century.  Because he favored highways over public transporation, suburbs were born, changing the infrastructural landscape of NYC, Long Island and Rockland and Westchester counties.  For additional information please contact the library or visit our website.
