Complex Regional Pain Association Hosts 4th Annual Walk & Expo
The Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association will host its 4th annual Long Island Awareness Walk & Expo for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) on Saturday September 7, 2019, at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY from 8 am until 2 pm, rain or shine.
The event is designed to be a community day as well as a fundraiser for RDSA, which is a national not-for-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people ith CRPS.
Online registration is now through August 15 and includes a free t'shirt: $25 for adults; $10 (children ages 6-12) and Free (children ages 5 and under).
Day of registration is also avaiable: $30.
The goal of the event is to raise awareness, fund better treatments, and find a cure for CRPS, which is rated more painful than cancer, amputation and childbirth. CRPS is the most painful condition known to man.
The 2019 event is desiged to give patients, care givers, medcial experts and businesses the opportunity to network in an informal, supportive environment. The event will include complimentary breakfast and lunch, entertainment, children's activities, raffles, an Education Tent and more.
