Hike is 6 miles, varied, moderate. This is a singles hike, but all are welcome! This moderate-paced hike around the 120-acre pond in the middle of Blydenburgh Park is not for beginners; bring snack or lunch and water; rain cancels; meet at south entrance of Blydenburgh Park; from the west, take Northern State Parkway to end, continue east on NY 347/454; at fourth traffic light and across from the NYS Dennison Bldg., make left into Blydenburgh County Park; from the east, entrance is on right past junction of 347/454; joint hike with NHOC.
