HELP GIVE SUMMER BACK TO CHILDREN WITH CANCER

We walk so they can soar!  Join us on Sunday, June 2, 2019 for SunriseWALKS to raise money for Sunrise Day Camps, inspiring communities to unite for a cause in hopes of giving children with cancer a summer free from the everyday demands of their illness.  Thanks to SunriseWALKS, children with cancer can explore their creativity, make connections and enjoy life in a way they never thought possible.

Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island is the world’s first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, provided completely free of charge.

SunriseWALKS on Long Island, presented by Nikon, Inc., will be held at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds on Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights (5 minutes from Route 110).  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

More than a “walk”, SunriseWALKS will be a fun, non-competitive morning for the entire family.  It’s an event filled with live music, face painting, carnival games, prizes and more.  A chance to walk side-by-side with Sunrise campers and to connect with a community of people who share your cause, this will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding days of your life, so children with cancer can have the best summer of theirs.
