During the school winter recess, on Thursday, February 20, there will be lots of extra excitement in the children’s library. Emma Clark will once again participate in the annual “Take Your Child to the Library Day”, first started in 2012 and now an international movement to raise awareness and to celebrate families taking their kids to the local library. Between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., children and caregivers are invited to drop in for carnival games, face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon sculpting, crafts and more. Plus, each new library card sign-up on February 20 will be entered in a raffle. Library cards are for any age!
There is no registration for this event, and families with kids (up to 6th grade) are welcome.
