Taste of the South Shore: Halloween Edition is Long Island’s BIGGEST Halloween Party and a PREMIER FOODIE event produced and promoted by 5 radio stations. The event will feature tastes from some of the best restaurants and eateries on Long Island, positioned along the south shore at Gatsby’s on the Ocean at Jones Beach. A portion of the proceeds will benefit both Island Harvest to support their workforce development program and Discover Long Island to support their “Downtown Deals” program driving consumers to our downtown dining districts.



Unlimited tastings from 6pm-9pm at dozens of showcase restaurants and beverage partners. Booths will be spread across the venue using the 180’ patio, 160’ ballroom and 2, 100’ upstairs patios. 2, 50’ GA Lounges with DJ and live entertainment on both upstairs patios along with each full-service bar. Games on the lower patio (light up foosball, giant kerpluk, axe throwing, etc.) Giveaways and surprise performances throughout the night. Guests will also be able to vote for the “Best Bite” and “Best Bev” to help crown the winners at the end of the night. Come in costume for a chance to win $500 cash prize!

VIP guests will enjoy all the opulence of the GA experience with an additional hour of tastings (VIP doors at 5pm), access to the exclusive 80’ VIP Lounge, VIP swag bag, and festival merch.

Participating restaurants will be featured as a Showcase Restaurant and included in event promotions. CMLI has the festival permit with Nassau DOH which will require each eatery to also file for a festival tasting permit with the details of the dish they are serving. Space will be booked first come, first served and will come withsignage including restaurant logo and food item(s) described for event guests. Each booth will also come with a container for the Best Bite/Best Drink competitions. Restaurants are responsible for all cooking and serving essentials (service staff, hot plates, sterno, paper goods, serving utensils, napkins, etc.). Restaurants are encouraged to dress their space for Halloween or to make it an authentic experience to their brick-and-mortar location. Restaurants are also encouraged to offer a bounce-back coupon for Taste of South Shore guests to redeem at their physical location. We can include these in our VIP swag bags in addition to handing out at your booth.

Beverage brands (alcohol and virgin) are invited to set up tasting locations with limited pours (Beer 2oz or less, alcohol 1⁄2 - 1⁄4 oz samples, wine 1oz sample or less, virgin beverages 3oz sample or less). . Space will be booked first come, first served and will come with 11x17 signage with brand logo and beverage or cocktail described for event guests. Each booth will also come with a container for the Best Bite/Best Beverage competitions. Beverage partners can provide product and recipe to offer cocktails at the bar for guest purchase. All unused alcohol and ingredients will be returned to the client (suggest qty is 1 case of spirits, 5 cases of wine).
