COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM EDT THURSDAY... ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 2 PM EDT THURSDAY * WHAT...Coastal Flood Advisory for minor coastal flooding during the times of high tide Tonight and Thursday morning into early afternoon. * WHERE...In Connecticut, Southern Fairfield and Southern New Haven Counties. In New York, Southern Westchester, Northwestern Suffolk and Northern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Thursday. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from noon to 2 PM EDT Thursday. * COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around 1 to 1 1/2 feet of inundation above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns and homes/businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding. * SHORELINE IMPACTS...Breaking waves of 2 to 3 ft along the south shore of Connecticut may result in beach erosion and wave splashover during the times of high tide Thursday.

Mirabelle Restaurant and Tavern at the Three Village Inn, one of Newsday’s 2019 “100 Best Restaurants on LI,” hosts “Tasting Fridays” every week, featuring a special seven-course tasting menu crafted by Executive Chef Guy Reuge. Every Friday, Chef Guy prepares a menu based on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Cost is $75 per person, $125 with wine pairings, plus tax and gratuity. This week’s menu, subject to change, includes:
