Your Favorite Fur-Filled Event is going Virtual! Enter your pet to walk the virtual runway!
We will be tying Paws for a Cause activities into the month of October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Paws for a Cause will raise awareness of the link between domestic violence and animal abuse and raise funds to support LIADV's life-saving services.
We will feature our sponsor partners and generous vendor supporters on our social media channels, providing bios on participants and air our feature video on Thursday November 4th at 7pm. There may even be some fun giveaways along the way!
It's not just all going to the dogs! Cats, pocket pets and other companion animals are welcome to enter! Enter your pet, dressed to impress, and join us just to cheer on our canine companions as they walk the virtual runway to support LIADV! Once you are registered, an LIADV team member will contact you on how to submit your photos and videos of your pets!
LIADV is the only shelter on Long Island dedicated survivors of domestic violence and their companion animals. This includes dogs, cats and pocket pets.
To date, we have helped hundred's of pets gain safety. During an average year, we directly assist 4,000 individuals with counseling, advocacy, job placement and shelter.
