The growing use of e-cigarettes (vaping, JUULing) among middle and high school students continues to leave many parents feeling hopeless, struggling to find effective ways to help their teen. Join our parent workshop to learn more about this public health crisis, how it may be affecting your teen, and learn strategies to have more open conversations with your teen about e-cigarettes.
 
Workshop Objectives:
 
  • Provide data-driven and evidence-based information surrounding e-cigarette use among teens.
  • Provide effective strategies to communicate the health risks e-cigarettes can cause.
  • Provide effective strategies to encourage your teen to develop stronger social-emotional skills (good decision making, emotional regulation, ability to weigh consequences, impulse control).
