The Beacon, Sag Harbor’s summertime mainstay, will open for its 20th season of business on Thursday, May 17, serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday beginning at 5:30 p.m. Guests can expect to see a new cocktail menu with the addition of specialty mocktails, as well as a selection of new innovative menu items as prepared by Executive Chef Sam McCleland.
The beloved Beacon classics will also return including, the steamed mussels “Beacon Style” with garlic, white wine, lemon-thyme, cream and tomatoes; crispy fish tacos with salsa verde, pepper jack cheese and tomato emulsion; halibut baked in parchment with sun-dried tomatoes, tatsoi and toasted Israeli couscous; the shellfish bouillabaisse with lobster tails, mussels, clams, shrimp and scallops; and the Beacon ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
